We’re looking for capable and hands-on IT and Systems Managers to own the day-to-day technology that keeps our Glasgow and our Edinburgh teams running. You’ll manage our internal IT infrastructure and servers, handle laptop and mobile device setup and maintenance, administer Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, manage user accounts and access, and provide friendly first-line support to the team. You’ll also help keep our systems secure and well-organised, staying on top of backups, updates, and good IT hygiene. This is a broad, autonomous role suited to someone practical and reliable who enjoys being the person everyone can count on to sort things out. Experience managing IT in a small but growing technical or engineering business is ideal, along with a security-conscious mindset and a genuine willingness to roll up your sleeves. You’ll be joining growing team of engineers (hardware and software) so there will be room for growth and technical expansion supporting the wider journey of the team. Two roles, (i)based on-site in Glasgow and (ii) Edinburgh.
We’re looking for a well-organised Project and Programme Coordinator to help keep our engineering programmes on track. You’ll support planning and scheduling, coordinate across teams and external partners, track deliverables and milestones, and help our technical leads stay focused on the work. This suits someone methodical, personable, and calm under pressure, who enjoys bringing order to complex, fast-moving projects. Experience coordinating technical or engineering programmes is a plus.
We’re growing our software team and looking for a Systems Software Engineer with strong C++ and Linux skills to work on real-time systems at the heart of our technology. You’ll design, build, and test software that interfaces closely with hardware, working alongside a small, senior engineering team. We value clean, well-tested code and engineers who enjoy solving hard problems in a fast-moving environment. Experience with real-time or embedded systems is desirable. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and room to grow.
We’re looking for an organised, hands-on Facilities and Operations Manager to keep our South West sites running smoothly. You’ll manage building services, health and safety compliance, supplier and contractor relationships, equipment logistics, and the day-to-day practicalities of a busy technical environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, unflappable, and enjoys being the person who makes everything work behind the scenes. Experience managing laboratory or workshop facilities is an advantage. This is a varied, autonomous role for someone who takes pride in a well-run operation.
